Norman Finklestein - Lecture and Book-Signing
St Joseph the Worker Church Berkeley, CA
In this long-awaited sequel to his international bestseller The Holocaust Industry, Norman G. Finkelstein lifts the veil of contrived controversy shrouding the Israel-Palestine conflict, enabling readers in search of a just and lasting peace to act on the basis of truth.
Finkelstein is critical of the proliferation of distortion masquerading as history, including, he argues, Professor Alan Dershowitz's bestseller, The Case for Israel. Dershowitz tried unsuccessfully to block publication of Beyond Chutzpah, employing a letter-writing campaign targeting the UC Press Board of Directors, the UC Administration, and Governor Schwarzenegger. Please join us in welcoming Finkelstein to the Bay Area.
Introduced by UC Berkeley Professor Beshara Doumani
