RADIUM GIRLS
When radium was discovered in the early 20th Century, it was heralded as a miracle cure for many diseases. Self-illuminating, radium was used to make paint for use on watch faces and machine dials. The factory workers who used this paint would repeatedly place paint brush tips in their mouths to create a fine point, continuously exposing themselves to deadly radiation. Even after several reports indicated the potential danger, the U.S. Radium Corporation denied accountability. Follow the lives of three young women who are factory dial painters as the story of corporate greed and corruption unfolds in this spellbinding production. Apr 20, 21, 26, 27, 28 @ 7:30 p.m. General Admission $10 Apr 26 is STUDENT NIGHT! All students $5 for Thursday, Apr 26 showing only
