2015 Seattle Angel Dinner Series
Welcome to our second Angel dinner!
Year 2, #3 of 2015 is going to be on Tuesday, October 13th.
As usual, mingling and networking will start at 6 PM and dinner will be served at 7 PM.
The premise is simple: a healthy and engaged angel/investor network is one of the keys to a healthy start-up ecosystem, so we thought it would be great to bring together quality local angels (and a few other players in the tech sector) for a fun and engaging night of food, wine, and conversation....aka, good ol' networking and idea sharing.
We are limiting the number of attendees so we can keep it small enough for good conversations. And we are fortunate to have three generous sponsors underwriting most of the cost of the event:

THIS IS AN INVITE-ONLY EVENT AND INVITE IS ONLY FOR THE PERSON WHO RECEIVED IT. PAST EVENTS HAVE SOLD OUT EACH TIME, AND WE WANT TO MAKE SURE THIS IS A FOCUSED, WORTHWHILE EVENT FOR ALL.
BONUS EVENT: As usual, we are doing another really interesting pre-event to highlight cool "startups" and this one should start off with a bang!
For this dinner, we will be highlighting a local gun manufacturer! Here is their write-up:
Eclipse Defense Technologies is a "less" lethal weapon startup based in Woodinville that is raising funding for tooling for its first commercial manufacturing run. They are currently taking orders for their first production run at the Defense and Security Equipment International Exhibition in London.
Problem:
With all the recent shootings, one could wonder why are police not using non-lethal weapons? The major reason is because of the high costs of training and limited range and accuracy.
Solution:
The Eclipse technology allows police hit targets with dependable accuracy further than any other less lethal weapon and at the low cost of compressed air.
Eclipse will be doing a hands-on demonstration in the back warehouse of the VUDE. We will limit the group to 20 people so that everyone can get a shot at shooting it and learning about its many use cases for military and police forces.

This starts right at 5 pm and will be in the back of the VUDE. This is limited to 20 people and you must R.S.V.P.
In addition to this, we will have other surprises too (hint: two other startups in the food space.)
