This December, the UN is holding an international climate change conference in Paris (COP21) in order to try to agree a legally binding commitment that will keep our planet from warming less than 2 degrees. Unfortunately, the hope of getting an effective legal binding agreement to protect our planet and its earthlings is looking bleak. We therefore must take the power into our own hands! In hundreds of thousands, people will mobilise in Paris to speak out, show solidarity with front line communities already affected by climate change, and take action to save the planet as we know it. We are going to do this on bikes.
We will ride from London to Paris over five days. We will connect with other cyclists at each step of the ride, skill-share through workshops, form teams, and organise towards our time in Paris. As messengers we will carry stories of hope from our communities, and display them loud and clear at the COP. Ride with us for climate justice and a livable planet!
Itinerary: December 5th: launch event in London and registration December 6th: Day 1 bike London to Brighton. There will be events in the Brighthelm community centre in Brighton December 7th: Day 2 bike Brighton to Dieppe December 8th: Day 3: bike Dieppe to Rouen December 9th: Day 4: bike Rouen to Frenueuse December 10th: Day: 5 bike Freneuse to Pairs December 11th: Day 6 day of action in Paris December 12th: Day 7 join the mass protests December 13: Day 8 train back to London from Paris

Please consider asking your friends and family to help save our planet by supporting you to go on this ride! We've attached a fundraising guide document to the website, please see it here: http://www.timetocycle.org/uploads/5/7/0/4/57049517/fundraisingideas.pdf. The ticket price covers the costs of:
