Titanium Sporkestra, The Bad Things, Bobby Joe Ebola & the Children Mcnuggets
Titanium Sporkestra has been lurking on the outskirts of Seattle's music and performance art scene for 5 years. In that time, they have won the 2010 Marching Band Battle of the Bands at Burning Man, won the Seattle Tomato Battle of the Bands, and toured San Francisco, Austin, Boston, Providence, New York and more. In 2012, Titanium Sporkestra is ratcheting up their game with a return to Texas, New York in their sights, and Europe waiting in the wings. The years of lurking in the shadows are over. Give it up for Titanium Sporkestra!
Joining the Sporkestra will be Seattle's kings of Junkyard Cabaret, The Bad Things. Celebrating ten rowdy years of subjecting the masses to their drunken blend of Americana, gypsy-punk and cabaret, they are certain to get audiences moving and drinking. Their set for this show will be recorded for an upcoming live album to be released later this year. Show up and add your howls!
Opening the night will be Oakland's satiric folk rock legends Bobby Joe Ebola and the Children MacNuggets. Starting as a "living room band" in 1995, Bobby Joe Ebola are sure to captivate Seattle audiences with their unpredictable and high energy performance. According to their bio: "With a nod to social satirists like Lenny Bruce and George Carlin, and musical influences ranging from Slick Rick to They Might Be Giants, Bobby Joe Ebola is the vaudeville routine for your personal apocalypse." Enough said!
