MURPHEY SCHOOL RADIO SHOW

"Is it possible to fall in love with an event?" Yes, it is! Come spend a couple of hours laughing and singing along as we raise the roof of the historic Murphey School auditorium for Coalition to Unchain Dogs and Eyes, Ears, Nose and Paws! The live radio experience is heightened in the atmosphere of the Murphey School, a 1936 WPA project that has been recently and lovingly restored by the Shared Visions Foundation as a nonprofit retreat and community center.

The show will feature a remarkable lineup:
Michael Malone, novelist

Randall Kenan, novelist

Gospel Jubilators, Golden Era Gospel

Danny Gotham, Joe Newberry, and Bobb Head, Old Time Music

Jennifer Evans, Gospel/Traditional Singer

Plus STELLA, the Murphey School Radio House Band, the Piedmont Players, and perhaps a surprise or two!

Our host for the evening is literary adventurer Georgann Eubanks. The program is produced by Donna Campbell of Minnow Media.
