SF based Vetiver is an American folk band headed by songwriter Andy Cabic and often joined by Devendra Banhart, cellist Alissa Anderson, and violinist Jim Gaylord with extensive collaboration with Devendra Banhart and Joanna Newsom. Celebrating the bands 5th full-length Errant Charm, "This album was made for walking. Vetiver bandleader Andy Cabic spent hours wandering the streets around San Francisco's Richmond District, listening to rough mixes, tinkering with lyrics and arrangements. You can hear his strides in the tempo of "Hard To Break," which captures the brisk gait one might adopt while passing through a public green space: Not hurried, just excited to be heading somewhere.

Golden Shoulders is a musician's collective from Nevada City, California. Formed in 2001 by songwriter Adam Kline, the group has featured significant contributions by such notables as Joanna Newsom, Kyle Field (Little Wings), Neal Morgan(Joanna Newsom), Todd Roper and Greg Brown (Cake, Deathray), Rich Good (the Pleased, Psychedelic Furs), Dan Elkan (Them Hills, Pocket for Corduroy), Josh Klinghoffer (R.H.C.P., John Frusciante, Beck, PJ Harvey), Rusty Miller (Jackpot), Rob Kieswetter (Bobby Birdman) and more.
