YTI's Intimate Realities Drama Company Presents "Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.- A Historical Tribute From Montgomery to Memphis" featuring the speeches of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Narration Written and Directed by Paul Kwame Johnson.
This exciting cast portrays Dr. King's journey as the leader of the Civil Rights Movement in America from 1955 until the time of his death in 1968. What makes this performance so unique is that it is performed by youth who were all born between 25 and 30 years after his death and yet who have an incredible grasp of Dr. King's life. It is also performed by seniors who lived through the civil rights period. This marvelous intergenerational show is a powerful and moving portrait of Dr. King's life featuring speeches known and speeches less widely known by the general public along with moving songs of the civil rights movement.
