 Join us at our annual intimate gathering in SoHo, rub elbows with some of the nation's environmental movers and shakers, drink and dine on local organic food and wine, and bid on silent and live auction items, from exclusive vacation packages to dinners at some of the New York City's finest restaurants- all for a good cause. For six years, the Fund's annual bash has brought together leaders in the sustainability movement, from international eco-hero Vandana Shiva to journalists Eric Schlosser and Amy Goodman and dozens of other inspiring change agents.
Purchase a Democracy Cocktail Hour ticket and join us for an intimate pre-party conversation with Frances Moore Lappe and Small Planet Fund grantee, Luis Antonio Pasquetti, a leader of the Landless Workers Movement, along with special guest Betty Ballantine,a founder of Ballantine Books and pioneer in paperback publishing in America who made Diet for a Small Planet possible.
