MoreRock Benefit Concert
Local nonprofit First Ascenders is proud to announce the first annual MoreRock Benefit Concert. Artists will arrive from all over the country to perform at the Lost Lake Lounge on February 18th.
Artists:
-Netherfriends Featured artist at the Pitchfork Music Festival, this psych-pop project arrives in Colorado in the middle of an ambitious 50 state tour. http://www.netherfriends.us/
-DJ Ginger Perry Winner of the Best Nontraditional DJ award at the Westword Music Showcase, Ginger's tracks can be heard regularly at Table 6 and LipGloss. http://www.facebook.com/ginger.perry
-Dewi Sant This group comes to MoreRock out of the independent folk revival in Minnesota. Their influences include Fleet Foxes, Blitzen Trapper and Bright Eyes. http://www.myspace.com/dewisantmusic
-Small Houses Michigan based indie/folk project featuring the songs and poems of Flint native Jeremy Quentin. http://www.smallhousessing.com/press
MoreRock is generously sponsored by Grassroots California and the Sugar Bakeshop and Coffee House. Swaager, a Denver-based music website, will also assist with the event as a media partner.
The MoreRock Benefit Concert will also include the UBER Sausage food truck and raffle prizes.
The concert will be held at Lost Lake Lounge, 3602 E. Colfax Ave, on Saturday, February 18th. The show is set to start at 7PM and will continue until the bar closes at 2AM.

First Ascenders is a Denver nonprofit that provides urban teens with an opportunity to rock climb in an authentic setting.
