Dubtronic Science is the next step in J-Boogie's music production & live musical performance The band blends an organic fusion of live musicians with the DJ. Mixing turntable beats with live percussion, sitar, flute, sax, vocals, and other elements; J-Boogie's Dubtronic Science creates a constantly evolving improvisation of live musicians jamming with J Boogs behind the decks and on the dubs.
J-Boogie's Dubtronic Science full-length release is available on OM Records featuring artists like Goapele, Gina Rene, Omega, People Under The Stairs and more. You can also hear his music featured on Ubiquity Recordings, Future Primitive Sounds and BSI Records. J-Boogie has also remixed the sounds of Mark Farina, Soulstice, Colossus, Zeph and Romanowski.
Guest Gabby La La's first album, Be Careful What You Wish For... is a wildly fun, endlessly charming and musically off-the-wall debut that's rooted in a life-long dedication to music, both highly specialized and extraordinary. Well before the release of this album, Gabby's proficient and vast musical talents with such instruments as the sitar, ukulele, toy piano, accordion and Theremin, have made her a decidedly sought after contributor for artists ranging from Snoop Dogg to Les Claypool & Macy Gray.
The Jazz Mafia Horns are one of the premiere horn sections on the West Coast.From recording with hip-hop giants such as Lyrics Born, to touring internationally with Thomas Dolby, the JMH are an extremely versatile group. Comprising mainly of trumpet,saxophones, and trombone, the JMH also double on keyboards, bass, flute, clarinet,and sousaphone!
