The Stolen Sweets 78 Record Release Party!
Beware the Ides of March, as you might just perish from the sheer pleasure of this show! The Sweets are thrilled to be releasing our very first '78 recording, on Groove-o-Matic Records from Seattle. We're even more thrilled to be welcoming special guests Seth Bernard and May Erlewine Bernard from Michigan, to open the show! Seth and May are the masterminds behind the Michigan-based Earthwork Music Collective, and the producers of the Earthwork Harvest Gathering Festival, where the Sweets have twice wowed Midwest audiences. And Seth is none other than the brother of the Sweets' own Jen Bernard. Come join in the harmony-soaked celebration, as we celebrate our record release and revel in the joy of music! We'll also be joined by Groove-o-Matic Records' own Charles Bork, who will illuminate details of the '78 underground revival movement for our fans. Lucky us!
JUST ADDED! Old-school vinyl spinning with DJ Miz Kitty! She'll be bringing her old Chicago wind-up victrola machine.
