Our Dancing Day-NW Chamber Chorus
"Tomorrow shall be my Dancing Day." The song tells the story of the season, with Jesus claiming Christmas as his own Dancing Day. We will celebrate the season with music inspired by the idea of dance, from such places as Nigeria, colonial America, Great Britain, France, and Spain. The concert will feature Estampie Natalis by Czech-American composer, Vaclav Nelhybel, accompanied by strings, flute and percussion. The instruments will join the chorus for additional selections, including our traditional sing-along.
