Mary Johnston's campaign for mayor gets derailed when her daughter, Erica, returns home from war unexpectedly. How does a family deal with the battles Erica drags back with her to her small town? THEBES is a world premiere dark comedy by Macha Monkey artistic director Kristina Sutherland (author of Franklin and Figaro and co-author of Nancy, Frank and Joe, a 2010 American Theatre Critics nominated play) about returning to your roots when you and everyone else has changed.
