Saturday Family Concerts: Johnny Bregar
After 20 years playing in folk/rock bands, Seattle musician Johnny Bregar surprised even himself with his first solo release: a kids' record called Stomp Yer Feet. Turned out to be a good surprise.  ParentMap magazine called it "music for families with parents who don't want to divide their CD collection into 'ours' and 'theirs.'" And Bregar's second kids' album, Hootenanny, built on that tradition; the same publication called it "Home-grown folk revival from a  dad who knows how to get feet stomping." His music is organic and fresh and yep - made for some serious stompin'. Presented by Town Hall. Series media sponsorship provided by ParentMap and KEXP.
