JANUARY COOKING CLASSES WITH THE KIDS
CLASS ONE: January 4th, Wednesday 12:30-3pm
Age Group 7-12
TRIO WORKSHOP: Heritage Italian Cooking
1. Homemade Pasta
2. Classic Red Sauce
3. Pizzel Cookies
CLASS DEFINITION:
* There will be three classes at this workshop:
PASTA, SAUCES & PASTRY
* Recipes will be provided!
* They will package up their goods to take home and share, and also EAT an incredible lunch
* Kids will make pasta from scratch with Food Blogger- Ms. Jeanette
* Sauces with Chef Leah
* Mrs. Di Bernardo will teach students to make a family heritage recipe that came from our great grandmother Giovanna Pizzelle
ITALIAN HERITAGE COOKIE-
Factoid: Pizelle were originally made in the south-central region of Italy. The name comes from "round, flat-pizze) pizza. Its known to be the oldest cookie in the world.
COST: $40 per student (10% discount for 2nd family child)
