This generative workshop will offer strategies to begin new poems. We will consider and
respond to the idea of location (both local and distant.) You are asked to bring a
postcard of a place you've been or have never been.
Bring:
1) a postcard (or image of place) you find visually interesting
2) colored markers / pencils (optional)
About the Instructor:
Eleanor Eichenbaum is a writer with an interdisciplinary composing practice. She holds a two graduate degrees; in Architectural Studies from the University of Texas at Austin and in Literature from the University of South Florida, Saint Petersburg.
