WHAT: Adventure Disco Block Party + 5Point Film On the Road
WHERE: 1300 block of Bay Street
WHEN: Doors @ 5pm, Films @ 8pm
WHY: To celebrate the outdoor lifestyle & get inspired to get out and get after it!
Block Party attractions include:
5:30pm - Kombucha Town street yoga session lead by 3 Oms Yoga instructor, Melissa Longfellow, in conjunction with a live DJ set (bring your yoga mat!)
6:30pm - Backcountry Essentials tandem ski course races
Merrell's Bellinghamster-ball races throughout the evening
Mount Baker Mountain Guides photo booth (with retro-dress up chest!)
Aslan organic beer on tap all night + food trucks
Outdoor gear raffle, giveaways, and much MUCH more!
The outdoor screening of 12 short adventure films from the 5Point Film Festival will be projected onto the Pickford Film Center's giant 24-foot inflatable movie screen at dusk.
The film program will showcase 11 short films from the 5Point Film Festival that embody their five guiding principles respect, humility, commitment, purpose, and balance while celebrating the human spirit of adventure.
BYOLC! (bring your own lawn chair) for seating under the stars.
And.. don't forget, it's a disco! So, dress accordingly! Prizes will be given for "best style" throughout the block party's activities.
