Found Footage Festival @ Red Vic Movie House
Red Vic Movie House San Francisco, CA
Following a sold-out 2006 tour, the Found Footage Festival is making its triumphant return to San Francisco with a brand new installment of live comedy and hilarious clips from found videotapes. This one-of-a-kind event compiles footage from videos that were at garage sales and thrift stores and in warehouses and dumpsters throughout the country. Curators Joe Pickett and Nick Prueher host the screening in person and provide their unique observations and commentary on their found video obscurities. From the curiously-produced industrial training video to the forsaken home movie donated to Goodwill, the Found Footage Festival resurrects these forgotten treasures and serves them up in a lively celebration of all things found.
