My Best Enemy with David & Goliath, a short
A game of now you see someone one way, now you don't, that could turn deadly a final winner and a loser. A DANCE not a lovely Viennese Waltz, but more a sinister tango, with many intricate twists and turns over falsified identities, falsified art, faked personal and romantic attachments. A COMEDY, only it is the "black" variety.  You cannot resist laughing even as you may feel guilty, wondering how can the Holocaust, the Nazis, confiscation and concentration camps, be funny.  Wonderful acting and directing make this "edge-of-seat" thriller work.  If there is still any "do I really want to see this" doubt, remember with all the escapades and questions raised, do you really not want to see how it all comes out in the end?

"A very well put together movie with a well paced story and two very fine leading actors.
possibly one of the best films I have seen all year."  Will Preston, flickeringmyth.com, August 19, 2011

"This official selection of the 2011 Berlin Film Festival is action packed, and (a) reversal of fortunes."  Philadelphia Jewish Film Festival, 2011

Preceded by:

DAVID AND GOLIATH (USA)-short
Writer/Director: George Zaverdas  Documentary/Docudrama  12 minutes, English
The old line is: "You can run, but you cannot hide."  In this thrilling and chilling war time tale, a Jewish resistance fighter must run and hide.  How he does both, and with the help of what savior, will grip you emotionally from start to end.
