Vocal Competition
The Rochester Oratorio Society presents a vocal competition featuring the very best in emerging, classical voice talent from across the United States and Canada. Ten contestants, from a beginning field of twenty-five semi-finalists, will compete for cash prizes before a live audience and a panel of professional judges from the classical performance world. This is a wonderful opportunity to see the stars of tomorrow in the intimate venue of the Hochstein Performance Hall. Their varied repertoire will thrill and inspire vocal music lovers of all persuasions. This is a fabulous evening that will entertain experienced music aficionados and inspire those new to classical voice. The evening is enhanced by a silent auction for the benefit of the Rochester Oratorio Society, and concludes with a wine tasting reception and an opportunity to meet the artists and judges.
