Goddess Chant A Ritual Concert Celebrating the Divine Feminine.
Composed by Shawna Carol Produced and directed by Pamela Gerke and Rev. Judith Laxer Performed by a women's choir accompanied by Anne Silverman on piano and Simone LaDrumma on drums.
~ Men are welcome to attend this event ~
Goddess Chant is composed of ten songs delicately woven together with spoken word, movement and ritual gesture, beginning with the creation of sacred space and ending with a community candle-lighting ritual. With beautiful, stirring and sometimes rockin' music, the Goddess is invoked in Her aspects of Mother, Star Goddess, Goddess of Pleasure and more. Goddess Chant was performed at Women of Wisdom in 2000, directed by returning artistic directors Rev. Judith Laxer and Pamela Gerke. Goddess Chant can be heard on the best-selling CD (see: CDBaby.com).
20th WOW Celebration Party After the performance of Goddess Chant, you are invited to join us for festivities at our celebration party for our 20th year! We'll have some WOW entertainment, time together to meet each other, and celebrate with cake and cider. We will also honor WOW's founder, Kris Steinnes, in her last year of directing the conference.
