Thanks for supporting Piedmont Oakland Rep! We have an early start time of 7:30. The performance including intermission is about 2hr 30 min, so most likely you'll be out by 10:00 pm. The parking lot has room for a few cars for early-comers, and street parking. We are two blocks off Piedmont Avenue--turn at the 7-Eleven, cross Montgomery and it's on the left (only 325 steps from Piedmont Ave!)

John Van Druten was an English playwright and theatre director. He is best know for his play "I Am a Camera" which formed the book forKander & Ebb's musical,"Cabaret." He was known for his plays of witty and urbane observations of contemporary life and society It holds up and is just as charming today as when it opened at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre on November 14, 1950
