Remembering the End
The inaugural concert of the Schola Dominicana will explore music honoring those gone before us. Join us as we feature music welcoming autumn, commemorating the dead, confronting death, and even a piece sung in honor of the end of NASA's shuttle program. This Fall Concert will feature classical works from all periods, from the works of Heinrich Schütz, Victoria, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, and Camille Saint-Sæns to challenging modern composers like Arvo Pärt, Rautavaara, Daniel Gawthrop, Eric Whitacre, Stephen Chatman, and New York City composer Meredith Monk.
