Snohomish County Music Teachers Association Annual Concerto Winners Concert
Enjoy some of the most talented young instrumentalists in Snohomish County during this concert. 6 students of members of the Snohomish County Music Teachers Association will captivate you as they play movements from concertos composed by such greats as Haydn, Bach, Rachmaninoff, Lalo, Saint-Saens and Gershwin. Students range in age from 9 to 18. Each student earned the honor to play in this concert by competing against other SCMTA students in October of 2011. Both the piano and violin will be featured solo instruments. The Starry Night Orchestra, conducted by John Grabowski, will accompany. If you haven't yet visited the newly renovated Music Hall in the Everett Mall, do avail yourself of this opportunity to view this wonderful addition to our greater Everett community and to support the arts in Snohomish County. The doors open to the foyer at 2:15. The concert begins at 3 PM and will last approximately 1 1/3 hours. A reception for all attendees follows the performance.
