Violinist Alexander Barantschik and pianist Robin Sutherland
Award winning violinist Alexander Barantschick, concertmaster of the San Francisco Symphony since 2001, has performed as both a soloist and chamber musician throughout Europe with such artists as André Previn, Mstislav Rostropovich, Maxim Vengerov and Yuri Bashmet. Robin Sutherland, principal pianist with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, has earned accolades and awards since he was a finalist at the age of 17 in the International Bach Competition. An avid chamber musician, Sutherland is co-director of the Telluride Players and a regular performer at the Bay Chamber Concerts in Rockport, Maine. Together, Barantschik and Sutherland are an outstanding duo.
