The 9th Annual Western Regional International Health Conference is titled "At A Crossroads: Choosing Hidden Paths in Global Health". We will be addressing topics that are overlooked or not widely viewed as global health issues, such as global mental health, the environment, chronic and neglected diseases, marginalized populations, organization and funding, technology and communication. Our keynote speaker Kavita Ramdas currently serves as the Executive Director of Ripples to Waves: Program on Social Entrepreneurship and Development at Stanford University's Center on Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law (CDDRL). We'll have major plenary sessions focussed on global mental health and global health and the environment, 18 panel discussions, a poster session, and a film festival. All students, faculty, staff, community members, and organizations welcome.
