 Join Capital opera as we kick off our 2007-2008 Season with Verdi's La traviata, 7:30 PM, Friday, October 19th, 2007 and 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 21st, 2007 at the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts Fletcher Opera Theater. Starring Lori Lind (Violetta), Daniel Stein (Alfredo), Krassen Karagiozov (Germont), Jennifer Gaspar (Oct. 19)/Jennifer Seiger (Oct. 21) (Flora), Christina Friedmann (Annina), Kevin Badanes (Gastone), Ted Federle (Baron Douphol), Robert Williams (Marquis d'Obigny), Tom Link (Dr. Grenvil), Matthew McGrath (Giuseppe). Directed and conducted by Wayne Wyman. Set and lighting design by Thomas Mauney. Costumes by Ruth Bryan.
Pre-curtain lecture by Dr. Assad Meymandi one hour before each performance.
