The RPA Presents: Rep. Mike Kelly, Larry Elder, Frank Gaffney, and Ben Shapiro
The RPA is incredibly honored to be hosting four amazing speakers on the evening of Saturday, October 15th, at a private, invitation-only event in West L.A. I can honestly state that this will be a soiree unlike any we've previously held. I could go on, but nothing I say could possibly be as impressive as merely reciting the bios of our speakers:
* Congressman Mike Kelly, making his first West Coast appearance! Rep. Kelly serves on the House Foreign Affairs, Oversight and Government Reform, and Education and Workforce committees. He's participated in committee hearings on the "Fast and Furious" and Solyndra investigations, and has worked to promote free trade agreements and to stop the Palestinian U.N. bid for statehood. Rep. Kelly will discuss how the Obama Administration's policies are crushing the economy and compromising our national security through overregulation of the private sector, its "leading from behind" foreign policy, and the massive government takeover of the health care industry.
* Frank Gaffney, the Founder and President of the Center for Security Policy in Washington, D.C. Under President Reagan, he served as Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Policy, the senior position in the Defense Department. Previously, he had been the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear Forces and Arms Control Policy. Mr. Gaffney is the author of "Shariah: The Threat to America," and "War Footing" (Naval Institute Press, 2005). He was the executive producer of the banned PBS documentary "Islam vs. Islamists," and he hosts the nationally-syndicated radio show "Secure Freedom Radio." He's also a weekly columnist for The Washington Times, TownHall, and Newsmax, and a contributor to BigPeace (a site that was created specifically for him by Andrew Breitbart: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPCm3_Al7_A), WorldNetDaily, and FrontPageMagazine.
* Larry Elder...okay, if you don't know who Larry Elder is, GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE! Larry's a bestselling author, a nationally-syndicated radio host, and the kind of guy who gives liberals nightmares. In fact, Morgan Freeman doesn't even believe he exists. But he most certainly does, and on October 15th, you can have the pleasure of meeting this amazingly insightful and witty man!
* Ben Shapiro syndicated columnist and the bestselling author of "Primetime Propaganda," which blew the lid off of liberal bias in Hollywood, and "Brainwashed: How Universities Indoctrinate America's Youth."
To introduce Congressman Kelly, we have Julia Thornton Special Assistant, Department of Health and Human Services, White House Liaison, Department of Housing and Urban Development, and Communications Director, Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives during the Bush Administration.
Live music provided by our beloved RPA bands Eric Porvaznik and Glorious Disaster, and G3: The Gary Graham Garage Band. Great food and drinks (happy hour specials will be available all night), and an enclosed outdoor patio where cigars or cigarettes can be enjoyed along with food and drinks.
Our venue is The Spanish Kitchen, on La Cienega near Melrose (826 North La Cienega). The restaurant, which offers a full menu and bar, will be closed to the public all night.
The doors will open at 6pm. The entertainment will start after 7.
Single tickets are $20. Two or more tickets are $15 each.
