Soprano Carol Menke and Pianist Marilyn Thompson in Concert at SRJC
Local legends, lyric soprano Carol Menke and pianist Marilyn Thompson will kick-off Santa Rosa Junior College's 2011-12 Chamber Concert Series with a program of Menke's favorite songs. Known for her perfect musicianship, illuminating voice and sweetness of tone, Menke has dazzled audiences here and abroad and won the accolades of music critics and orchestral conductors. She is joined by accomplished pianist Marilyn Thompson, a member of Trio Navarro, who, like Menke, studied in Austria, and has performed chamber music throughout the country.
