Calvert Vaux Preservation Alliance - Autumn Fundraiser
Benefit for Calvert Vaux Preservation Alliance at historic Rokeby, the Armstrong/Astor/Aldrich country seat in Barrytown, outside of Rhinebeck. This event will support CVPA's efforts to preserve the Hoyt House ("The Point") in Staatsburg, NY. Performance by the internationally renowned neoLIT contemporary chamber ensemble, and a talk by Vaux authority Francis Kowsky on his new book "Frederick Law Olmsted, Calvert Vaux, and the Buffalo Park and Parkway System." Wine, gourmet cheeses, autumnal fruits and deserts will be served.
