Harry Nilsson was arguably the most respected singer, songwriter, and record maker of the '70s. His prolific career spanned 30 years and included chart-topping pop songs, blockbuster soundtracks and a fistful of hit rock and folk singles. He's best remembered for the theme song from Midnight Cowboy, EVERYBODY'S TALKING ,(a song he didn't write!). He wrote the score for animated 70's pop parable The Point which included the hit singleME AND MY ARROW, the widely-covered Calypso number COCONUT, the soundtrack for Robert Altman's Popeye , and his music has been heard everywhere, from THE MUPPET SHOW to RESERVOIR DOGS.
