Fordson: Faith, Fasting and Football
See high school football in an entirely new light as the 98% Arab American population in Dearborn, Michigan supports their local Fordson football team, comprised of predominately Arab-American players who continue to play and to practice during the last ten days of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. This powerful and unique documentary follows the players and their families as they prepare for a rivalry game with Dearborn High School, a challenge compounded with the players practicing without eat or drink from sunup to sundown. This fascinating film explores an American community and its values on multiple levels.
