Two worlds collide when a Latino family breaks tradition and moves to the Hassidic side of Delancey Street. In an effort to protect his sexually ambivalent young son, Ricardo Alberto Barrone chooses to move Gio into Murrary Eskowitz's building on the 'other side' of Delancey. The play takes you on a journey through the Hassidic and Latino communities of the lower east side and through the friendship of two brave children navigating family and religious boundaries.
