FACING EAST: A NEW MUSICAL In Concert
FACING EAST, based on the play by Carol Lynn Pearson, is a stirring new musical following an upstanding Mormon couple trying to face the suicide of their gay son. When they meet their son's partner, Marcus, they must face a reality long denied and resolve feelings of faith and family.
This workshop-concert of the musical will be presented in staged-reading format, with a portion of proceeds to benefit The Trevor Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to outreach and support to struggling LGBT youth.
