Wind Through the Strings
The Colorado Quartet performs a program with music for string quartet and shakuhachi, plus the glorious Debussy String Quartet. Two works by contemporary composers Carlos Sanchez-Gutierrez, and James Nyoraku Schlefer blend the musical and cultural worlds of Japanese and European classical music. Mr. Schlefer is also the shakuhachi soloist.
