Autumn Chrysanthemums
Japanese master Yoko Reikano Kimura performs on the Koto and the Shamisen, bringing sophisticated artistry to the beauty of Japanese traditional sound. Her program will feature music of Kin'ichi Nakanoshima, as well as music by American composers Lou Harrison and Marty Regan. Guest artists for this remarkable program will be Hikaru Tamaki, cello, and James Nyoraku Schlefer, shakuhachi.
