The Sounding Board Launch Party
This event will combine world-class performers with top-tier nightlife entertainment producers; invigorate timeless classical pieces with some of the hippest new music around; intertwine commentary from celebrities with noted public figures; and feature dynamic scripts from some of Boston's most promising writers.
FEATURING:
- TSB Executive Producer and performer Emmy-nominated composer and violinist Daniel Bernard Roumain (www.dbrmusic.com) who has performed on American Idol with Lady Gaga, soloed with the Boston Pops, and performed in the 2010 Olympics with DJ Spooky
- Mia Friedman (www.ariandmiafriedman.com), a grand-prize winning singer-songwriter in the John Lennon International Song Competition
- Award-winning jazz singer Aubrey Johnson (www.myspace.com/aubreykjohnson) instructor at the Berklee College of Music
- Rock-pianist and songwriter Andrew Horowitz from the band Tally Hall (www.tallyhall.com) formerly signed on Atlantic Records.
- Harvard Lampoon writer Ben Smith who is helping to develop the comedic aspects of the program
- Artistic Directors Brian Kaufman and Michael Reichman and the TSB Creative Team members Albert Oppenheimer, Erik Johnson, Liz Erenberg, Anne Gregory and Lila Palmer
