NEQ Season 5 Concert 2A

The New Esterházy Quartet, America's premiere period instrument string quartet, perform music by Haydn (Op. 20, No. 2 in C) and his students Anton Reicha (Op. 94, No. 3 in f) and Beethoven (Op. 95 in f). Both the Haydn and Beethoven quartets were dedicated to Nicholas Zmeskall, whose own Quartet in D minor will also be heard.
