Reception with Chef/Author Greg Atkinson for his book, At the Kitchen Table
Join us for a pre-event reception at store owners Chuck & Dee Robinson's condo above the book store, and meet Seattle author & chef Greg Atkinson. Enjoy wine and appetizers prepared by chef Charles Claassen of Book Fare Cafe. Charles will use recipes from Greg's various Northwest cookbooks. Tickets are $40 and will include one copy of At the Kitchen Table: The Craft of Cooking At Home. Substitutions cannot be made if you buy more than one ticket, but Greg's book will make a great autographed holiday present. Tickets are also available at Village Books. Space is limited.

In his new book At the Kitchen Table: The Craft of Cooking At Home, Greg Atkinson explores the power of food, the meaning of coming together at the table, and the pleasures of home cooking in more than two dozen compelling essays. These memorable meals spring to life on the page, and each essay ends with several related recipes, more than 70 total.

Greg Atkinson is a regular contributor to The Seattle Times and food commentator on Seattle's public radio station KUOW. He is the author of In Season: Culinary Adventures of a San Juan Island Chef, Entertaining in the Northwest Style, Northwest Essentials, and West Coast Cooking. In November 2011 Atkinson will open Restaurant Marche on Bainbridge Island, Washington, where he resides.
