Mexico 2010: Benjamin García, otherwise known as "El Benny," is deported from the United States and upon returning to his village, comes across a devastating scene. The irrational violence, widespread corruption and economic crisis that have gripped the country have completely devastated his hometown. Seeing no alternative, and in order to help his family get ahead, El Benny gets involved in drug dealing and, for the first time in his life, he prospers and has plenty of money, women and power. However, he will find out soon enough that even though a criminal way of life is tempting, it does not always pay off.
