Eager and naive, film student Billy trustingly takes on as cameraman for Miguel, who has arranged to follow Santiago, a notorious pimp and drug dealer, as a character study. The adrenaline rushed adventures captured through the lens obscures the grim reality of the crime world Billy witnesses and celebrates alongside Santiago and his gang, all the while Miguel is not so easily swayed. Is he not charmed by Santiago, as we all are, or does he know more than he leads on?
