The Magic Bus blends sightseeing, film, and theater for a 90-minute tour that traces contemporary San Franciscan culture back to its 1960s roots. Large screens roll down over the bus windows, revealing documentary footage of the 60s. As the video plays inside the bus, oral histories and classic tunes give splashes of psychedelic color to each passing landmark as the bus travels through North Beach, Haight-Ashbury, Golden Gate Park, and Chinatown. The trip includes sights such as the City Lights bookstore and the Conservatory of Flowers. It sheds light on the bands, beatniks, hippies, and the conflicts that lended the area its distinct flavor. Fridays at 12PM and 2PM, Saturdays at 1PM and 3PM. Special Holiday Buses run Dec. 21-23, 28-30 at 1PM and 3PM

Can I buy tickets when I get on the bus or do I have to pre-purchase online?

Tickets may be purchased at the bus if seats are available. Buses do fill up so it is advisable to buy in advance. You may phone 415 332 8867 during office hours to verify space. Thanks and Welcome Aboard!

Union Square garage, under Union Square. The Geary St entrance is immediately next to the bus stop for Magic Bus.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but both shows this Saturday are sold out to a private party. All shows for which tickets are available will show up in the dates column on the buy tickets tab.
