800 Pound Guerrillas
8PG Productions unleashes Mobile's newest comedy group, The 800 Pound Guerrillas Comedy Attack on the Crescent Theater at the stroke of midnight, August 28, 2011.

STARRING: Jonathan DePew; Chris Ellis; Ron Goleman; Jeremy Stacey; and Jennifer Platt.

(Available for sale in advance at the Crescent Theater)

The Guerrillas are bringing improvisational and stand-up comedy to the stage, unlike you've seen it before. No host, No rules, just no-holds-barred funny. Don't think for one minute that you're safe in the crowd. These Apes promise to make sure that their Monkey Business includes YOU! After all, any good crime (or joke) needs an accomplice. You have been warned. Alcohol is served on premises. Due to the unscripted nature of any improvisational event, this event may include adult language and themes. Attendee discretion is advised.

What the hell does "800 Pound Guerrilla" mean? "The 800 pound gorilla in the room" has often been a metaphor for the problem/issue that can't be ignored because it is so glaring that it should be obvious as to the problem/issue. OK, got that??? Guerrilla warfare is unstructured/chaotic warfare, with a attack and hide component to it. Still with me??? I'm getting there. An 800 Pound Guerrilla is an in-your-face style of comedy that hits you with everything it has and in no way, shape, or form, can such craziness be ignored, because it's so over-the-top. Now you know, and knowing is [probably copyrighted and trademarked by Hasbro], ............. you know.

The Guerrillas would like to extend special thanks to their sponsors: The Green Beavis; Dragon Vapor; and Slumber Parties by Jennifer Platt.

At midnight on August 28, 2011, let the Monkey Business begin .......
