FOOD SHELTER CLOTHING: Start the Conversation
You won't want to miss FOOD SHELTER CLOTHING, the third annual fundraiser for Marnita's Table, on November 5, 2011. From 7- 9 p.m., savor three incredible cross-cultural feasts, followed by dessert and dancing from 9-11 p.m., lead by the youth of Collective Change.
Your involvement means that civic and business leaders will understand and act on issues that impact the housing and food insecure. At the same time, a youth will be inspired to go on to college, an under-resourced person will become financially literate, a business leader will find an employee eager and ready to work, a policy maker will get actionable information to improve public health outcomes, an immigrant will feel more connected to the community and a rural isolated citizen will welcome "the other" into the neighborhood.
