Chinatown 101
Do you ever wonder where the Chinese shop? Where do they go for bargains? Is it true that when they walk into a store, they get first dibs on products that non-Chinese may not even know exist?
You've probably had the experience of dining in a Chinese restaurant, ordering off the English menu and watching the parade of food brought to the table next to you. Of course the table next to you all happen to be Chinese-speaking diners and their food looks so much better than anything you ordered for your table!
This 3-3.5 hour tour of Chinatown will give you answers to everything you've always wondered about. We'll show you where to shop, how to shop, and how and where to find bargains. We will also show you which restaurants to go to, what to expect and how to order. If you like Chinese pastries, we'll show you where to get the best egg custard tart, "cocktail" bao, and "pineapple" bao. Not any BBQ shop has the best bbq pork! We'll also show you where to get the best Chinese brunch with fresh soy milk and Shanghai dumplings. Lastly Cynthia's favorite place for a late night supper! Register now so that we can reserve our tables for our dim sum lunch!
