Casa de Cultura Brasileira (CCB) is thrilled to present the first of its inaugural galas with CeleBrasil! Please join us to celebrate Brazlian culture, intercontinental collaboration and community. CeleBrasil will showcase Brazil, a vibrant nation with a diverse population and a thriving economy. CCB has made "Brazil within Reach" and we invite you to celebrate the connection between the American and Brazilian communities.
Brazil and the United States have a long history of partnership. The U.S. was the first nation to recognize Brazil's Independence from Portugal in 1822. Both countries have strong democracies and flourishing immigrant communities. Our countries share many values and benefit tremendously by learning from each other's successes.
CeleBrasil will be an opportunity to remember the first Brazilian immigrants who paved the way and created the foundation for the today's vibrant Brazilian community and showcase the city of Chicago.
During the CeleBrasil gala event we will honor a member of our community with the Honorary Ambrassador Award to recognize continued promotion of Brazilian culture in the city of Chicago.
