Descending Chile's most remote river from the Northern Patagonia Ice-cap to its terminus at the Pacific Ocean, the award winning documentary Patagonia Rising investigates a plan to build five large hydroelectric dams in Chiles famed wilderness. Along the way, Patagonia Rising brings voice to the iconic South American cowboys, Gauchos, caught in the crossfire of future energy demands.
