Keyboardist Lao Tizer as been proclaimed "a torchbearer for the new generation of contemporary jazz musicians." Nominated "Best New Artist of the Year" at the National Smooth Jazz Awards, he is among an emerging group of instrumentalists who appeal to diverse audiences with music that reflects a mixture of rock and world beat, infusing a youthful vibe into the contemporary jazz genre. Featured violinist Karen Briggs adds an "electrifying and explosive" dimension to TIZER's performances. Alluding to her red gown and headpiece and fiery displays of virtuosity when touring with Yanni, she is often referred to as "The Lady in Red".
