Kind Strangers & New England (SF Improv Festival 2011)
Kind Strangers - Complete with all the booze, heat and sexual tension you can handle, Kind Strangers will improvise a new Tennessee Williams play that you have never seen before and will never see again - all based on your suggestion, of course!
Running wild on the stages of iO West in Hollywood, CA since 2008, Kind Strangers have been performing a variety of GenreProv formats, currently bringing down the house & exposing dark family secrets with Improvised Tennessee Williams.
Upright Citizens Brigade-trained wunderkinds New England spontaneously creates a form onstage as new to them as it is to the audience. They invite you into their alternate universe where they defy human rules, logic, and gravity to create a fast paced world with characters that will delight your senses and haunt your dreamscape. Put on your Christmas sweater, it's time to party.
Brooklyn-based New England has been together since 2010 and has performed in venues all over New York City including The Wild Project, Players Theater, and the Brooklyn Lyceum.
